Died when he fell 125 feet from the top of an abondoned smokestack owned by the Kamm & Shellinger Brewery company on North Center street in Mishawaka at 10:00 a.m.

The accident occurred when scaffolding upon which the men were working collapsed on the rim of the smokestack .
