George CHILDS

 General Notes:
George farmed in Noble County and later moved in the spring of 1880 to a farm near Wakefield Nebraska. Then he was in hardware and later in the lumber and coal business at Wakefield.
He bought his first car at the age of 75.
George married Mary Magdalina ACTON, daughter of William Cornelius ACTON Jr. and Mary Magadalene 'Polly' WALKER, on January 23, 1861 in Noble Co., Indiana. (Mary Magdalina ACTON was born in 1842 in Morrow Co., Ohio and died in 1881.)
