In the 1880 Wayne, Noble Co., Indiana census Ephram is head with wife Mary and gdaughter Flora age 7, gson Norman age 12 and gson Arthur Acton age 9. These are the children of Ephriam's brother George W. Acton and wife Sarah Work Acton.

Ephriam married Mollie 'Mary' STRATER, daughter of John F. STROEDTER and Anna Margaret TOBY, on December 25, 1879 in Noble Co., Indiana. (Mollie 'Mary' STRATER was born on August 6, 1851 in Ohio or Indiana, died on August 6, 1931 and was buried in Lake View Cemetery, Noble Co., Kendallville, Indiana.)
